Sunday Morning Worship
Having resurrected from the grave on this day, Sunday became known and honored as The Lord's Day. Following the pattern of the New Testament Church, The Lord's day gathering is the pinnacle our week as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is the day we honor as the Christian sabbath by gathering in corporate worship of the Triune God of heaven and earth. This corporate gathering is not to be forsaken by the body of Christ.
We gather for children's and adult Sunday School classes at 9:30 am each Sunday, followed by our corporate worship service at 10:45 am.
Community Groups
We encourage every member to be a part of a community group. These groups typically meet two to four times a month, usually within a member’s home, around a meal and a simple lesson. These groups are where much accountability and relationship, and inter-generational discipleship takes place within the life of the church.
Wednesday Evenings
Throughout the school year, we meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30. Typically, the men and women (6th grade and up) meet in separate groups to study God’s word, but occasionally the elders teach an adult class for both men and women. The children’s ministry also provides Bible lessons for K-5th graders.
Men's & Women's Ministries
Both the men and the women’s ministries schedule semi-regular events to encourage Bible study, fellowship, and discipleship. Our church encourages an adherence to Titus 2:1-8, where older and wiser men and women in our church family are exhorting and teaching the younger members. Our children graduate from children’s ministry after they complete the 5th grade, and rather than placing them in a youth group, they are incorporated into either the men’s or women’s ministry so that they can learn and grow among mature believers.
Children's Ministry
Our children’s ministry provides classes for children from kindergarten through 5th grade during Sunday School and on Wednesday evenings. The mission of our children’s ministry is to catechize and teach the Gospel to our church’s children while supporting their families. We also provide a nursery for children ages 0-3. The rhythms, curriculum, and training that take place are all designed to familiarize the children with the story of the Gospel as a part of their earliest memories.
